About Housing Authority of Elgin (HAE)

The Housing Authority of Elgin, Illinois (HAE) is a public housing agency established under the United States Housing Act of 1937/310 ILCS 10 Housing Authority Act. HAE owns and operates 9 family and elderly public housing developments totaling approximately 255 units and administers 913 Housing Choice Vouchers under the Section 8 program.
